Terms of service
Version 2026-09-19.2
Free for bands, free for listeners, advertisers keep the lights on. Here's the fine print, without the fine print.
What A2G Underground is
A2G Underground is an online radio platform. Independent bands license their original music for airplay; station owners program stations from that catalog and go live; listeners tune in for free without an account. Advertisers buy recorded spots. That's the whole business.
The platform is operated by A2G Designs ("we"). Using the site, the stations, the apps or the API means you agree to these terms.
Accounts
Bands, station owners and advertisers need an account with a verified email and two-step sign-in. You're responsible for what happens under your account; tell us straight away if you think it's been compromised.
Listeners don't need an account and we don't ask them to make one.
You must be 18 or older to hold an account, or have a parent or guardian accept on your behalf.
Bands
Uploading music means accepting the Band License, which is the airplay-for-music trade: you keep all your rights, you grant a non-exclusive royalty-free license to play your originals on the platform, and neither side pays the other.
Only music you own outright, recording and composition. No covers, samples or beats you don't have written clearance for.
You can pull any track or delete your band at any time from your dashboard, and download everything first.
Station owners
You can run one station or many. The catalog available to your station is set by the platform; you choose rotation, jingles, the ad clock and when to go live.
The free path URL is always included. Subdomains and custom domains are paid yearly add-ons; if a renewal lapses, the station falls back to its path URL and keeps working.
Don't use a station to broadcast music that isn't in the platform catalog, or anything that would be illegal to broadcast where you are.
Live broadcasts are your responsibility. Keep it legal and keep it decent; we can end a broadcast and suspend a station that doesn't.
Advertisers
Spots are 30 seconds, recorded, and reviewed by a human before they air. We can decline any spot without stating a reason and refund unaired plays.
You're buying airtime, not listeners. We report proof of play (which station, when) and aggregate listener counts, never individual listeners.
Prices are per aired spot as shown on the rate card at the time you book. Payments are handled by Stripe or by invoice.
Listeners
Listen as much as you like, for free. Chat nicknames, song requests and "notify me when live" work without an account and without telling us who you are.
Keep the station wall friendly. Station owners can clear messages; we can block abusive connections.
Content and takedowns
We use audio fingerprinting to catch uploads of music the uploader doesn't own. Flagged tracks are held for human review.
Copyright complaints: email the address on the contact page with the track, the station, the work you believe is infringed and how to reach you. We remove first and ask questions after. Repeat infringers lose their account.
Money
Bands are never charged and never paid by the platform. Listeners are never charged. Advertisers pay for spots; station owners may pay for the optional URL tiers. That's it.
Tips, merch and store links on band profiles go straight to the band through their own PayPal, Venmo, Stripe or store. We're not part of those transactions.
Built-in merch is sold by the band or station, not by us: the charge goes to the seller's own Stripe account with no platform fee, the seller ships it, and the seller handles returns and refunds. Buyers deal with the seller; Stripe's buyer protections apply.
Availability
We run this as a small independent platform and aim for 24/7, but we don't promise uptime. AutoDJ has an emergency fallback so stations don't go silent when the catalog is unreachable.
We may change or retire features. If we ever shut the platform down, bands and station owners get at least 30 days' notice and their export tools keep working until the end.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months (for most people, nothing).
You'll cover us for claims arising from content you uploaded or broadcast in breach of these terms.
Changes and contact
When these terms change we update the version above and, for account holders, show the new version at sign-in. Questions: [email protected].
