Band license

Version 2026-09-18.1

The airplay-for-music trade every band accepts before uploading. You keep your rights; we get to play your songs; nobody pays anybody.

The deal, in one sentence

You give A2G Underground permission to play your original music on the platform's radio stations, for free, and in return you get free airplay, a band profile, and a place to point your fans. Nobody pays anybody.

What you're granting

A non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, copy, transcode, normalize, stream, cache and publicly perform the recordings you upload, on A2G Underground and on any station the platform makes them available to, including each station's web page, app and stream.

Permission to use your band name, artwork, bio and track titles to identify and promote your music on the platform ("now playing", band directories, station pages, promos).

Non-exclusive means you keep every other right. Sell it, stream it elsewhere, license it to whoever you like.

What you're promising

You own, or fully control, BOTH the sound recording AND the underlying song (composition and lyrics) for everything you upload. No cover songs, no samples, no beats or loops you don't have the rights to, unless you have written clearance.

Nothing you upload infringes anyone else's rights, and no label, publisher, distributor or performing-rights organization agreement prevents you from granting this license.

If someone else in the band or a co-writer has a share, you have their permission to do this.

You are at least 18, or a parent/guardian is accepting on your behalf.

Money

A2G Underground does not pay royalties for airplay, and you do not pay A2G Underground for anything. The platform is funded by advertising sold to advertisers.

Any tips, merch or store sales you receive through links you post on your profile go directly to you. The platform takes nothing and handles none of it.

Leaving

You can remove any track, or delete your whole band, at any time from your dashboard. Removed music is pulled from every station immediately and permanently deleted from our storage after a 30-day grace period. You can download everything you uploaded first.

Ending the license doesn't undo plays that already happened, and we may keep play logs (which track played on which station, when) for reporting.

Content rules and takedowns

We can remove or decline any upload, and suspend any band, if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms, the law, or is abusive — we'll tell you why.

We follow a notice-and-takedown process for copyright complaints and a repeat-infringer policy. If a track is flagged by our fingerprinting check, it's held until a human reviews it.

Your data

We keep what's needed to run your account: email, band profile, uploads, play stats. We never sell it. Listeners aren't tracked individually — stats are aggregate only.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll show you the new version and ask you to accept it before you can upload again. Your existing music stays up under the version you accepted.
